Nias parrot motif creations sourced from the Nias parrot. The concept of creating the creations of the Nias parrot is taken from the life of this animal, in the form of freedom to fly in beautiful nature and perch safely. The creation of the Nias parrot has a bird's body formed from indentations, the wings are widened and given Isen-isen. On the wattle of the earlobe, a wavy shape with a large size depicts the crown. The color concept used also describes the natural colors and life of the Nias parrot The process of creating this work uses a theoretical basis which includes form, function, batik motifs, creations and colors. The method of creating this work goes through three stages, namely the exploration stage which is looking for sources of ideas through library sources or interviews, designing which is pouring ideas into alternative sketches which then become the selected design, the embodiment stage which is the process of embodiment of the work that has been designed, the technique used is written batik technique , with silk cotton fabric and using reactive dyes, after the batik process is complete, the material is sewn into a men's shirt. There are five creations of the Nias parrot as a batik motif on men's shirts. The titles of the works in this creation are “5 sekawan”, “Dua Pasang Beo Nias”, “Kepakan Sepasang Beo Nias”, “Kehangatan Tiga Beo Nias”, “Berpasangan”, “Pergi”, “Pertemuan Sepasang Beo Nias”.
